What Volunteers Do
The core of Help By Phone, Ltd.'s mission is getting food from our network of food pantries directly to the client's home. Our pantry volunteers play a hands-on, vital role in this process:

Logistics & Organization: Volunteers answer client calls and help manage and organize the food pantry inventory, ensuring that donated items are properly stored and ready for distribution.

Pantry Packing: Once a client is interviewed by Help By Phone, their information (including family size) is sent to the food pantry serving their zip code. Volunteers then step in to pack an emergency supply of non-perishable food, ensuring the contents are appropriate for the size of the household. This direct action provides immediate relief when a family needs it most.
